Outbound Rewrite

Outbound rewrite is used to manipulate the dialed number according to configured patterns.

Creating, editing and deleting an outbound rewrite

Create a new outbound rewrite by clicking the New record button located in the top toolbar. Edit by clicking the Edit button. To delete an outbound rewrite, click the Delete button. You can also edit or delete by right-clicking on the selected record.

Rule properties

• Number — phone number or number block
• Prefix — digits added to the beginning
• Trim left — number of digits removed from the left
• Keep number — setting for keeping the number
• Trim right — number of digits removed from the right
• Suffix — digits added to the end

Example: number “0800123456” is changed to “800123456” (removal of the first digit).
